Medium & High Pressure Block & Bleed Valves

Applications Block Bleed Valve

  • Pressure isolation between the main pipeline and the instrument
  • Vent / drain of pipeline loops that cannot be drained/vented with the main pipeline.
  • Usually ball valve style and may be positioned at the top or bottom of the pipeline.
  • Used on a vessel for isolation of the pressure tapings when measuring the differential pressure.
  • Used on a filter for isolation of the upstream and downstream pressure tapings when measuring the differential pressure across the filter.
  • Doble block and bleed used for vent / drain of the filter bowl.
