Medium & High Pressure Check Valve
Medium and High Pressure O-Ring Sealed Check Valves, 10C, 15C, 20C, and 60C Series
FITOK offers a comprehensive range of check valves for diverse applications, including general industry, medium and high-pressure systems, semiconductor high-purity processes, and alternative energy. Working pressure from 145 psig (10 bar) to 60,000 psig (4137 bar) and temperature range from -110°F to 1200°F (-79°C to 649°C). End connection options include ferrule, threaded, weld, face seal, vacuum flange, and more, along with a variety of cracking pressures to meet specific application needs.
- Cracking pressure: 14 psig~26 psig (0.97 bar~1.79 bar)
- Resilient O-ring seat design ensures noise-free closing and reliable reverse flow prevention
- Fluorocarbon FKM O-ring for operation from 0°F to 400°F (-17.8°C to 204°C); other materials of O-rings available
- Provide unidirectional flow and tight shut-off for liquids and gases with high reliability. When differential drops below cracking pressure, valve shuts off (not for use as relief valve)
Medium and High Pressure Metal-Seated Check Valves, 10CO, 15CO, 20CO, and 60CO Series
10CO, 15CO, 20CO, and 60CO Series Metal-Seated Ball Check Valves, designed for high pressure working conditions, feature an integral ball and poppet design that ensures positive, in-line seating without “chatter.” The maximum working pressure is up to 60,000 psig (4137 bar). The poppet design is optimized for axial flow with minimal pressure drop. Optional materials for the cover and ball poppet are available for extended life. Various connection types and sizes are offered.
- Prevent reverse flow where leak-tight shut-off is not mandatory (not for use as relief valve)
- Optional materials of cover and ball poppet for longer life
- An integral design of the ball and poppet to assure positive, in-line seating without “chatter”. Poppet designed essentially for axial flow with minimum pressure drop
Subsea O-Ring Sealed Check Valves, 10SC, 15SC, and 20SC Series
10SC, 15SC, and 20SC Series Subsea O-Ring Sealed Check Valves, designed for subsea applications, these valves are made from high-tensile 316 stainless steel with a maximum working pressure of up to 20,000 psig (1379 bar) and a maximum water depth of 13,800 ft (4200 m). Featuring a soft seat seal ring for tight shut-off, these valves are ideal for gaseous media. They are highly resistant to corrosion and meet NACE MR0175 requirements. Various connection types and sizes are offered.
- Working pressure up to 20,000 psig (1379 bar)
- Maximum external pressure: 6,000 psig (414 bar)
- Cracking pressure: 14 to 26 psig (0.97 to 1.79 bar)
- NBR O-ring for operation from -10 to 250°F (-23 to 121°C); other O-ring materials available
- High tensile 316 stainless steel for valve body
- NACE MR0175 optional
- Soft seat seal ring style or metal-to-metal seat poppet style available
- Maximum water depth: 13,800 ft. (4200 m)
- Provides unidirectional flow and tight shut-off for liquids and gases with high reliability. When differential drops below cracking pressure, valve shuts off (not for use as relief valve)
Subsea Metal-Seated Check Valves, 10SCO, 15SCO, and 20SCO Series
10SCO, 15SCO, and 20SCO Series Subsea Metal-Seated Check Valves are specifically designed for subsea environments and feature a high-tensile 316 stainless steel valve body. They offer a maximum working pressure of up to 20,000 psig (1379 bar) and a maximum water depth of 13,800 ft (4200 m). The metal-to-metal seat poppet design is suitable for fluid media and is unaffected by media temperature. These valves provide exceptional corrosion resistance and meet NACE MR0175 requirements. Various connection types and sizes are offered.
- Working pressure up to 20,000 psig (1379 bar)
- Maximum external pressure: 6,000 psig (414 bar)

Medium pressure check valves,20CG Series
The 20CG Series medium pressure check valves are specifically designed for hydrogen refueling and testing applications, with a maximum working pressure of up to 20,000 psig (1,379 bar). The check valves employ a sealing structure featuring a metal cone and a PEEK valve seat, ensuring reliable performance under high-pressure and high-flow gas conditions, making them particularly suitable for hydrogen refueling operations. Each valve undergoes internal and external leakage testing with a mixed gas of helium and nitrogen at 10,150 psig (700 bar) before shipment.
- PEEK seat offers exceptional wear resistance and excellent hydrogen compatibility
- Metal cone to PEEK seating design ensures reliable performance under high-pressure and high-flow conditions, making it particularly suitable for hydrogen fueling applications
- Mountable in any direction
- Proportional sampling helium leak tested to a leak rate of ≤1×10-6 Ncm3/s
- Each valve is tested for internal and external leakage using a helium-nitrogen gas mixture at 10,150 psig (700 bar) before shipment
Directional Flow : Check VALVE
The most common valve type for directional flow is the check valve. Internal design construction will vary between check valves, but they all serve the same purpose, which is preventing the back-flow of system media. What is illustrated here is inlet flow overcoming a spring force to open the poppet, allowing flow in one direction. If back-pressure exceeds the forward pressure of fluid, the poppet will close preventing flow in the reverse direction.
