Insert tube Installation for soft plastic tubing

INSERT TUBE FITTINGS FOR VERY SOFT PLASTIC TUBING

Many types of soft plastic tubing are use in laboratory or low pressure air systems. Unplasticized PVC tubing, such as Tygon, is often use because of its purity, transparency, excellent flexibility, and smooth interior surface.

Tube metal or plastic tube fittings have use for many years on this tubing with excellent results. The only additional requirement beyond the needs for use on metal tubing is an insert, made to support the tubing so that it will not collapse when the ferrules deform the tube.

Another excellent connection for such service is the hose connector (HC). This hose-type fitting has a specially design serrated shank which properly stretches the tube for optimum sealing.
An optional sleeve may use when working pressure is more than 50 % of the maximum working pressure of the tube. Hose connector can install using barb tech tools.

FITTINGS FOR HARDER PLASTIC TUBING

Fittings for polyethylene, polypropylene, TFE, and PFA tubing are available in a wide range of tube fitting sizes and materials.
Both metal and nylon fittings can be used on these tubes. TFE fittings on TFE tubing have reduced pressure ratings due to the slippery finish on both components. However the PFA tube fitting, when use with PFA tubing (and grooved with the groove cutter), will hold to the rated working pressure of the tubing.

HOW TO ASSEMBLY INSERT TUBE PLASTIC/HOSES

Some part will use in assembly Insert Fitting is : OD size of Insert Tube must follow size of ID of plastic tube/hose, Fitting with ferrule system, wrenches tools refer to nut of Fitting.

Below we introduce step of Installation :

STEP 1 : Push Insert Fitting to Plastic Tube

STEP 2 : Push the plastic tubing assembly into inside the fittings body

Step 3   : Hold the body fitting and tighten the nut by turning one quarter turn Hold the Body
