Function
Union tee fittings use for 3-way connections with various types of pressure and fluid variations. Other part of the 3-way shape, there is also another shape, namely 4-way, which is usually call union cross. By using a double ferrule, we don’t need to do welding on the tubing, and it can be use directly for connections.
Various Shapes
Union Tee Tube (TTT)
The union tee is in the form of a double ferrule compression fitting and is the same for all three branches and the size of all the branches is the same.
Reducing Union Tee (TTT)
Reducing Union Tee has different sizes for its branches as example one of the branches is metric and the other size is fractional, or the sizes of the three branches are different, for example one of the branches is 3/8 inch, the other size is 1/4″.
Male Run Tee (TMT)
Similar with the name suggests, Male Run Tee means that one of the branches on the top side that goes to the side is Male shape.
Male Branch Tee (TTM)
As the name suggests, Male Branch Tee means that one of the branches on the side of the branch that goes downwards is male in shape.
Positionable Male Branch Tee (TMT) and Positionable Male Run Tee (TTM)
Positionable is one side of the branch can be rotated so that you can determine the direction of the branch.

Female Run Tee (TFT)
Tee is have one of the branches on the top side that goes to the side is female.
Female Branch Tee (TTF)
Tee have one of the branches on the side of the branch that goes downwards is female.
How do we write specifications in Technical Specifications:
Tube Fittings is the way to mention it in the order specifications is to use the clockwise direction (CW), and first start from the far left side and then follow the clockwise direction.
For example, if it says TTF then the end connection is Tube-Tube-Female follow clockwise, with detail is T it means Tube Ferrule, M it means Male NPT, F it means Female NPT and so on.
How to Install union tee using Tee Wrenches Tools:
1. Prepare Tee Wrenches Tools according to the size used by the Tubing.
2. Prepare the Union tube that will be used
3. Insert the body of the Union Tube into the Tee Wrenches tool.
4. Resistant body Union Tube using Tee Wrenches
5. Rotate the Fitting body Nut using the Wrenches Tools and firmly hold the Union Tube body with Tee Wrenches
6. Firmly hold the union tee body and tighten the nut for 1-1/4 turns
7. Use an Inspection Gauge to measure the tightness of the fitting Nut
8. Union Tube tee has been installed.
Insert the body of the Union Tube into the Tee Wrenches tool
Rotate the Fitting body Nut using the Wrenches Tools and firmly hold the Union Tube body with Tee Wrenches
