Instructions for installation Tube Clamps

Mounting on weld-on plate Tube Clamps

Weld weld-on plate on a right dimension base plate.
Clamp lower clamp part onto weld-on plate, insert tube, place upper clamp part and fasten with screws.
do not weld with attach plastic clamp!
extend weld-on plates can be fastened to the base plate.
ensure preload (clamp halves must not touch after mounting)!

Mounting on rails Tube Clamps

Rail are supplied either in pieces of 1 or 2m.
weld rail or screw mounting bracket.
insert rail nut in the rail and rotate until it stops (to ensure correct spacing).
clamp lower clamp part, insert tube, place upper clamp part and fasten with screws.
ensure preload (clamp halves must not touch after mounting)!

Build-up mounting

Weld weld-on plate or rail or screw on with mounting bracket.
clamp lower clamp part, insert tube, place upper clamp part and fasten with build-up screw (build-up screw stands over).
to prevent a twisting of the mounting screw put on a protection plate on the upper half of the clamps.
second clamp now mount in the same way, etc.

Definition tube holding force

The axial tube holding force (according to DIN 3015 Part 10) is a mean value calculated from three experiments at 23 °
C with a steel pipe according to DIN 2448 from St 37 which is provided at static friction.
in case of axial tube load on the clamp with the specified test force (F), the tube does not slide in the clamp.

Recommended clamp distance

The clamps distances assigned to the corresponding tube outside diameters are guideline values for static load.

The Tabel is data distance of tube clamps with variation of OD size tube, we can say that the larger the size of the tubing, the further the distance between the tube clamps will be.

Tube bends mounting

Tube bends should be fixed directly before and behind the bend with tube clamps.
